The club “Shakti -the Power” is a strong kernel of Women Empowerment and Gender Equality where both the female faculty and girl students of the college are its members and works with an aim to create a gender sensitized community within campus as well as in the society. The club activities are focused to build an egalitarian society where women realize their full potential and tend towards their journey from leader to change maker. The sessions are to create awareness about the social, legal and constitutional rights of women and make females cognizant about sexual, physical and mental violence against them so as to equip them with the knowledge and strength to withstand it.

Alumni of the college are its true ambassadors as they are the outcome of the efforts made by the institution to make them world ready. The Alumni Cell more popular with its brand name –APGC_PRIDE is there to enrich the emotional bondage amongst the Students, Alumni and Faculty apart from providing a platform to exchange information, ideas, communicate their accomplishments, interests and concerns. The Alumni shares their opinions about the betterment of student’s career and also extend maximum help to the College in the placements and internships of students in reputed organizations. The alumni willingly participate in cultural and social activities in reunions and virtual meets.

Agrawal PG College has constituted an Anti-Ragging Cell as per the directives of the Honourable Supreme Court. The UGC has issued strict guidelines to all the institutions of higher education to check and curb the menace of the ragging on campus.

We have always been cautious towards maintaining a stress-free and healthy learning environment. With the onset of new entrants in the college, the requirement of balancing the interactive activities between the seniors and the juniors arises. For this a vigilant squad of faculty members takes round in the campus throughout the day to check and control any such unhealthy acts.

The college premises, classrooms, corridors, laboratories, canteen are equipped with CCTV Cameras and facilitate video surveillance at all hours. Strict disciplinary action is taken against the students if found guilty of ragging, whether actively or passively. The Anti-Ragging Cell can be approached by the student in case of any misconduct by the seniors or juniors.

As per norms laid by UGC, a Grievance Redressal Cell is set up to provide a mechanism to address the student’s and teacher’s grievances and ensure transparency in all practices adopted for the college. The cell looks into the complaints submitted by students and acts according to the merit of the issue. The complaints can be submitted anonymous or in person, in writing or through email. A suggestion/ complaint box is installed in front of admin block for the purpose. The cell maintains a harmonious, responsive and accountable atmosphere in the college. The cell advises the students to respect the right and dignity of one another and to refrain from inciting students against other students, teachers and college administration.

As per the guidelines of UGC and the Supreme Court, an anti-sexual harassment cell has been established to deal with the issues related to the prevention of sexual assault, rape, crimes related to girl student or female teachers and workers of the college. The cell activities are laid such to ensure a safe environment for girl students for the studies. The cell organises gender sensitization awareness programmes. The cell ensures that all the matters related are treated with dignity and respect and the complaints are maintained confidentially. Intentional false report or information are treated as a matter of in discipline.

The purpose of this cell is to create awareness about harmful effects and long-term health impact of tobacco use amongst the students, teachers, workers and officials. Posters making competition, skits, short plays, nukkad- nataks etc are held to generate a healthy and tobacco free environment and awareness about various avenues available for tobacco cessation.

The goal of Incubation Cell is to promote and support technology-based entrepreneurship spirit among the students. AIC wishes to facilitate the creation of ideas and inventions that benefit society. We are fortunate enough that AIC is being supported by FORTI that nurtures ideas, start-ups and entrepreneurs at their early stage.

A research and innovation cell develop the excellence through innovation, discovery and creativity.The aim of the cell is to   enhancing facilitating and collaborations between researchers, government and industries. Cell provide the infrastructure and training that promotes creativity and entrepreneurship

This is the representative body of the students of the college that become involved in the routine operations and activities of the college, working in partnership with the management, staff and students for the benefits of the college and the students. Each class has its nominated class representatives as the members of the council and their job is to create a sense of belongingness of the college among the students; enhance communication between students, teachers and administration; promote a conducive environment for educational and personal development and represent the views of the students on matters of general concern to them.

The Alumni of the college also plays an important role in providing quality placement opportunities to the student, they act as natural mentors to the juniors and help them in the placement process.

The IQAChas been established to initiate and monitor plans for quality enhancement and quality sustenance of the institute. The Cell performs all its activities as per the guidelines from NAAC of developing a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institution. For this the cell channelizes all efforts and measures of the institution towards promoting its holistic academic excellence

IQAC works to create multidisciplinary best citizens and to satisfy the students and parents requirements through continual improvements in Quality of Education Services. The IQAC has also taken steps in consonance with the educational philosophy of the college along with statutory guidelines and directives. Accordingly, the IQAC cell has been making an untiring effort to motivate and guide faculty members, students, as well as non-teaching staff of the institution to achieve quality excellence

To identify, felicitate and develop research and innovation, an exclusive cell is dedicated to strategizing on issues of IP. The IPR Cell has been constituted to provide Intellectual Property Rights Awareness to teachers and PG students of the college. The cell conducts workshops, seminars and training courses wherein knowledge on patents, patent regime in India and abroad and registration aspects is disseminated. The students are made aware of various aspects of patents, designs and trademarks copyrights to geographical indications, plant variety protection etc.
