Department of Botany has multidisciplinary course and the curriculum has been developed to meet the growing demand of expertise knowledge in life sciences. It is backed up with specialised laboratories, enriched departmental library to provide extended support of integrated knowledge. The department also has a flourished botanical garden and good collection of herbarium. The botanical garden has number of herbs, shrubs and trees having economical, medicinal and ethano-botanical application cited in different literature. Department also has skilled faculty with specialisation who enforce continuous efforts for active teaching as well as research.

Dr. Shankar Singh Rathore (Ph.D., M.Sc.)
He has teaching experience of more than 18 Years. He has published 13 Research papers in reputed National and International Journals and authored 4 books. He is life member of Indian Science Congress and Vigyan Bharti. He has attended many National and International Seminars, Conferences and Webinars. He is actively involved in administrative works and also the member of various clubs and committees.
Dr. Rajni Jain (Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Ed.)
She has experience of 17 Years in this field. She has many research publications in National and International Journals and review articles in books and edited volumes. She is life member of prestigious society IBS and VIBHA. She has attended and presented papers and posters in various Conferences and Seminars. She has got Best Presentation Awards in conference held by IBS (2007) and Indian Phytopathological Society in 2009.
Dr. Rekha Sharma (Ph.D., M.Sc., M.Sc.)
She has an experience of 14 Years. She has done her post-graduation in Microbiology as well as in Plant Pathology. Ms. Garima Singh (M.Sc., Ph.D – Pursuing)
She has teaching experience of 6 years. Stood in merit during her UG and post PG courses. She has done certificate courses in remote sensing, climate change and ecology from ISRO and Delhi University respectively. She has done diploma in clinical nutrition and dietetics. She has attended and presented papers in various international and national conferences. She has been awarded as the best oral presenter in the International conference organized by CNCER, IAHE USA and MRSI, Rajasthan Chapter.
