Department of Physics came into existence in 1961 to run its UG courses. From 2006, the department is running both UG and PG courses to impart theoretical education along with specialised practical training in well-equipped laboratories providing a solid foundation in the essentials of futuristic technologies. The department has numerous state-of-the-art research facilities for teaching and research purpose. Department has a rich history of excellence and invites prominent scientists and scholars to inspire and guide students.
Mr. Nitesh Kumar (Ph.D. Pursuing, M.Sc., B.Ed.)
He has 7 years teaching experience. He has published 5 Research Paper in International Journals and One Research Paper presented in International Conference . He has participated in 4 Workshop, One International Webinar and 3 Seminars. He has attended in IP Awareness/ Training programme and also participated in 2 Faculty Devlopment programs (FDPs). He has also attended skill development training programs in Renewable Energy (solar Systems). His research interest lies in Material sciences, Polymer composite and 2D Materials.
Mr. Ajay Jangir
He is an enthusiastic Assistant Professor in Physics. With an M.Sc. and NET qualification, he brings 2 years of teaching experience, dedicated to guiding students in understanding the fundamental principles of physics.
Dr. Ankit Gupta
He has 12 years teaching experience and has supervised 3 students of MSc for their dissertation. He has to his credit 20 research paper publication and above 35 conference presentation.
He has published 7 book chapter and 2 patent. He is life time member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) and Soft Materials Research Society (SMRS). He has served convenor of Workshop on Experimental Learning of Science for skill Development, industrial visit and Webinar. He has participated and attended attended many Workshop, Seminar, training programs and faculty development program (FDPs). His research intrest lies in Material Sciences, Electromagnetic Shielding, Optoelectronic devices and Energy storage device.
